The story behind Inner Star Global.
Hi, I'm Kristy — the person behind Inner Star Global.
I didn't start with a company. I started with a phone, a camera, and a belief that a voice from China could matter anywhere in the world.
In 2019, I began creating on Douyin, learning firsthand how a single piece of content could reach hundreds of thousands overnight — and how quickly that energy fades without the right strategy behind it. In 2022, I crossed the ocean to TikTok and the U.S. market, and saw something that stayed with me: so many talented Chinese creators, full of stories worth telling, standing at the edge of a market they didn't yet know how to enter. The language, the platforms, the contracts, the culture — every step felt like a closed door.
I knew that feeling, because I'd stood in front of those same doors myself.
So I started opening them — one creator, one brand, one deal at a time. Helping Chinese creators find their footing in the U.S. Helping brands find voices that truly resonate across borders. Not as a faceless agency, but as the partner I once wished I'd had: someone who understood both worlds, and genuinely cared whether you made it.
